Abstract Development of prototype product of tube feeding consisted of the following steps 1)selection of raw materials 2)formulation under control constraints 3)selection of drying processes and 4)analysing quality attributes. The results showed that peanut protein concentrate gave better results as a source of protein, due to less foaming in the product. Pumpkin was selected as source of vitamin A because of cheaper price and all season vegetable of pumpkin. Whole milk powder, whole egg powder and maltodextrin were selected as additional sources of amino acid, fat, mineral and carbohydrate, respectively. The formulation of tube feeding consisted of whole egg powder, pumpkin, peanut protein, whole milk powder, maltodextrin and water in the following percentages, 1.00, 5.00, 8.00, 11.80, 9.00 and 65.20, respectively, Spray dryer was selected at heating temperature 190 deg C due to better powder quality, The quality attributes of tube feeding resulted in fine powder, light yellow and good aroma. Protein, fat, carbohydrates contant of tube feeding was 28%, 9.00% and 55.74%, respectively. Tube feeding contained a very good source of essential amino acids enough for RDA. The viscosity of the product was 50 centipoises with the flow rate of 60 ml./min. Although total aerobic count of the feeding was quite high but coliform and pathoganic bacteria were not detected in the tube feeding.
