AbstractVegetarian diet may be classified as pure vegetarian, vegans and Zen macrobiotic diet. Vegetarians can be will nourished if they eat the variety of plant foods. Vegetarian should consume fortified soymilk or vitamin B12 supplement instead of milk and egg. Legumes, leafy vegetables, and a source of vitamin B12 are important components of the diet containing no foods of animal origin. Recipes of vegetarian food are presented as the examples ie vegetarian pizza, sweet and sour tofu, gluten soup etc.
