AbstractRandom Amplified Polymorphic DNA Fingerprint method was developed to differentiate and determine genetic relatedness of Lactobacillus plantarum, Lactobacillus pentosus and Pediococcus pentosaceus. The method was studied on 50 strains of lactic acid bacteria including the three type strains of Lact. plantarum, Lact. pentosus and P. pentosaceus that isolated from fermented meat, pork, vegetables and fish.
